Carina Leagues commenced from humble beginnings in October 1970 in the lower ground floor section of Chadwick Hall. The Club was trading under a Sporting Licence which permitted the sale of alcohol only while sport was being played. The Club was granted a Liquor Licence on 22 October 1971 and was the first club in Queensland to be granted trading hours from 10:00AM to 11:00PM. Since this time, strong patronage and support has seen Carina Leagues Club continue to grow and flourish.
Over the last 20 years, Carina Leagues has trebled in size, with a revised Liquor Licence permitting the club to trade until 4:00AM. This has seen the development of modern facilities for our members and guests, including;
The Gaming Lounge has 300 gaming machines, self-serve vending tea and coffee, as well as designated outdoor smoking facilities with mist fans and heaters for the comfort of members and guests.
Our main bar and TAB facilities are centrally positioned, ensuring ease of access from all areas of the Club.
Our Cafe, which trades from 10:00AM till late 7 days a week and offers an all-day food menu including light meals, sandwiches, hot and cold beverages, sweets and more.
The Bistro caters for all needs from a traditional roast dinner to a more sophisticated option from our A La Carte menu. To make life a little bit easier for those with special dietary requirements, we have a separate menu that caters for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free requirements.
Carina Leagues Club also boasts a large, landscaped carpark with plenty of room, full lighting , a large number of shaded parks and a buggy service which ensures that our members and guests are picked up and dropped off from their car to the entrance safely.
As the Club continues to grow we hope to add more and more great facilities for you, our Members. Carina Leagues Club is a community Club and a few of the many objectives in our charter for which the Club was established are:

There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and it is only getting closer within our reach as the months and years go by. We are always continuing to improve our club and ensure that our journey is ongoing and fruitful for the benefit of ourselves and the local community.
